Ambassador Ademola Onafowokan was born on July 29th 1955, to the Onafowokan family in Ikorodu division of Lagos state. He started his elementary education at St. John school and ended his primary education at Emmanuel Primary School, Isonyin in present day Ogun State. His secondary educational pursuit took him to Methodist High School, Ibadan and Christ High School, Ibadan where he obtained his West African School Certificate (WASC) in flying colours.

In his quest for more knowledge, Ademola Onafowokan had his A’ level in The Polytechnic, Ibadan at the age twenty, between 1975-1979 he was at the University of Benin, for a flourishing career as a diplomat.

The inauguration of Muhammadu Buhari as the 16th President of Nigeria, and 5th President in the fourth Nigerian Republic will take place tomorrow Wednesday, 29 May 2019. It marked the beginning of the second term of Muhammadu Buhari as President following the 2019 general election.
