The 21st century is witnessing a deluge of technological innovations. The application of artificial intelligence and development of robotics has further underscored the need for sustainability. The African continent is again viewed as less-developed and unready for the development and deployment robotics for the enhancement of sustainability of its economies. This situation may amplify the precariously low development indexes in the continent.
The Robotics for Sustainability Partnership Platform (R4S PP) 2022 seeks to bring together various governments and organisations (developers, users, and regulators) of robotics for the purpose of sharing experiences and developing capacity for enhancing robotics for sustainability in Africa. The event will feature plenaries, workshops, idea-pitching, and exhibitions.
